This document will define terms of diversity, cultural competence, culture, ethnocentrism, race, and ethnicity; identify components of culture beyond race and ethnicity; explain CLAS Standards for language and literacy; describe the process to improve cultural competence and explain strategies to deliver culturally competent nursing care.
**This course is approved as a Cultural Competency CEU and applies 2 CEU hours towards your state requirements once completed.**
You will need to pass the CEU posttest with 80% or higher to receive credit.
