Position Description

United Pacific Surgery Center is seeking a OR Operating Room Charge Nurse to join our Team!

United Pacific Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

As the Operating Room Charge Nurse, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the OR, ensuring the highest quality patient care, promoting team efficiency, and fostering a positive environment. You will act as a clinical resource for staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

Key Duties Include:

  • Coordinate and oversee patient care in the operating room
  • Act as a mentor and resource for the OR team
  • Facilitate communication between surgical staff, anesthesiologists, and other departments
  • Communicate with vendors and representatives for supplies, equipment or instruments that are needed for cases.
  • Works closely with Materials and Sterile Processing Dept to coordinate supplies & instrument needs.
  • Prepare schedules
  • Assist in OR as needed

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO Call Required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Hourly Range: $45.00 - $70.00/hour depending on experience

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current California RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • 1+ yeas experience required in a fast-paced, intra-operative setting
  • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
